Our Guarentee
Fischer & Page ltd provides 24 hours from receipt of goods for inspection and return of any damaged product. All requests for credit must be made within 24 hours of accepting delivery; Fischer & Page ltd reserves the right to require the return of credited goods as a condition of approving a request for credit. Return of goods does not imply or require the issuance of credit in and of itself; but is a necessary condition if requested by Fischer & Page ltd.
Fischer & Page ltd will refund or replace, at the customer’s preference, any goods that have approved requests for credit. In the event that goods are irreplaceable, Fischer & Page ltd will provide a substitution if agreed to by the customer.
All goods are expected to receive the care and handling of professional florists. Liability is limited to the actual cost of goods only.
Buying Direct
The traditional distribution “chain” for flowers has been grower to exporter or auction > exporter to importer > importer to wholesale > wholesale to retail > retail to consumer. Fischer & Page ltd has always imported directly, buying from growers, auctions and exporters. Most of our import sources are exclusive to Fischer & Page. Computer technology implemented in the late 90’s has allowed Fischer & Page to connect directly to growers in Holland to guarantee availability and freshness. Each day growers enter into the system what they would be bringing to the Dutch auctions the next day. Fischer & Page purchases the flowers for your orders BEFORE the auction starts. Delivery is from the grower directly to our export agent who prepares the flowers for shipping. The shipment arrives in New York that night and is available to our customers the next day from 6:00 am to 12 noon. Orders placed Monday can be picked up on Wednesday; orders placed Tuesday can be picked up on Thursday and orders placed Thursday can be picked up on Saturday. From the deadline time of placing orders with our growers to the time your order can be picked up 34 hours will pass by. We encourage anyone to compare our 34 hour Dutch turnaround with any other “Direct” suppliers.
